 An Immigrant’s Journey

Recommended for Grades 1-5

Hear the struggles of the long journey from Germany to America in the mid-19th century. A costumed presenter brings an immigrant trunk filled with objects and documents.

Chaperones: 1 teacher required per class.

 A Pilgrim's Voyage

Recommended for Grades 3-5 

Through story, critical thinking and hands-on experiences, students learn about the hardships of settlement at Plymouth in the 17th century. Students may try on period clothing and sample Pilgrim bread.

Chaperones: 1 teacher required per class.

 A Fur Trader’s Tale

Recommended for Grades 3-5

Discover the difficult life of a voyageur as a costumed presenter brings his pack with beaver pelts, metal trade items, and more.

Chaperones: 1 teacher required per class.

 A Soldier's Story

Recommended for Grades 3-5

Explore items from a soldier's knapsack, and hear about the experiences of a Civil War soldier from our costumed presenter. Please indicate at time of booking if your school will allow the presenter to bring a reproduction musket.

$100 for schools in Green Bay, De Pere, and Ashwaubenon; $125 for other schools in Brown County; $150 for schools in a one-hour radius per program. $60 for an additional duplicate program.
