Bienvenue a La Baye
Explore a time when Wisconsin was La Baye and many locals were fur traders. Children will see and taste popcorn popped over an open fire, tour the fur trade cabin, play Native American games, and sing voyageur songs.
Fire and Fun in a Small Town
Meet the town’s blacksmith, and watch him twist red-hot iron. Children will then help the volunteer fire department put out a “fire” before they play historic games and make a special toy to take home.
Work and Play on the Farm
Experience life as it was on a 1900s farm. Meet the animals, do laundry, and help with chores. End your visit with a game of ‘Hunt the Ring’ or an egg and spoon race.
Life at Fort Howard
Explore what military life was like at 1836 Historic Fort Howard in Green Bay. Help with Fort chores, march with the drill sergeant, attend a school lesson, and compete in the Fort Relay.
Daycare programs run Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays in June, July, and August. Morning programs run 10:00 am – 11:30 am. Afternoon programs run 12:30 pm – 2:00 pm.
Programs are limited to 50 kids per program. Multiple programs can be combined to accommodate groups larger than 50 (additional charges may apply). Please call 920-448-5150 x 201 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to inquire about this option if you have questions.
$6 per child (if each child is only participating in a single program) with a minimum fee of $75 per group. Teachers admitted free. One chaperone per 15 students is admitted for free. Additional chaperones are $10 each. Passes and memberships cannot be applied toward educational programming and therefore cannot be used for admission to this program.
