Second Saturdays: Celebrating Veterans!

In November, we’re celebrating veterans! Join us at Fort Howard to learn about the lives of soldiers and their families in the 1830s. March and drill, compare past military life with today and write letters to modern-day servicemembers. Regular admission rates apply but members and active duty servicemembers are free every day!
And in honor of Veteran’s Day, veterans are free, too!
Explore Northeast Wisconsin’s culture and history all year round at Heritage Hill State Historical Park! Join us in the winter and spring for Second Saturdays, a monthly program where we open the park for seasonal, thematic programming. Do hands-on-history activities, get a prize if you complete the monthly scavenger hunt, and enter to win a special raffle (the more Second Saturdays you attend, the more chances you’ll have to win)!
