The French & Indian War: A Fall Encampment @ Heritage Hill State Historical Park | Green Bay | Wisconsin | United States

The French and Indian War, 1754-1760 was a major turning point in the history of North America. Reaching as far east and north as New York and Quebec, the conflict also engaged individuals in Northeast Wisconsin, specifically the American Indians native to this area as well as French and British newcomers associated with the fur trade and military. Join the Annual Heritage Hill French and Indian War Encampment and interact with 18th century living historians from throughout the region. See French, British, and Ango-American soldiers as they would have been on campaign. Hear the crack of muskets and smell the black powder during demonstrations. Gather around the campfire with soldiers and army followers as they cook their meals. Engage with artisans demonstrating various 18th century arts and crafts. Step into the past and join us for a weekend of education, excitement, and special activities in 18th century Wisconsin!

Tram service will be offered throughout the weekend.
