  • May – October: Tuesday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

What’s included

Field trips are self-guided so you can explore Heritage Hill at your own pace. Historical interpreters will be on hand to engage students in hands-on learning.

Bring your lunch and picnic on the grounds! Staff will schedule a lunchtime for your group and transport your lunches to the designated eating area.

Weather

Our programs run rain or shine so come dressed for the weather! Currently, we do not offer rain days or refunds for schools who do not attend due to weather conditions.

Accessibility

Heritage Hill’s buildings and pathways are wheelchair accessible but please be aware that we are on a hill and weather can make conditions slippery.

Cost

Students cost $6 each – teachers and teacher aides are free!

We require 1 adult for every 15 students. These adults are free. Additional chaperones cost $10 each. Memberships and passes are not valid for field trips.

Need help funding a trip? The Heritage Hill Foundation provides free admission for students at schools the Department of Public Instruction has identified as 50% or more “economically disadvantaged” per their website. Heritage Hill staff will verify your eligibility for this upon booking.

Payment

Payment is due by check or credit card 7 days prior to your scheduled field trip date.

Cancellations can be made at any time. If made within 7 days of the scheduled field trip, a service charge of $100 will be charged.
