Public Input Meeting for Fox River Area of Concern @ Heritage Hill State Historical Park

The Heritage Hill State Historical Park, Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, Stantec, and partners are planning a habitat restoration project at Heritage Hill State Historical Park. This park has been identified as a site for fish and wildlife habitat improvement within the Lower Green Bay and Fox River Area of Concern. In addition to enhancing habitat, we are also exploring improvements to shoreline access and development of new interpretive/educational elements as part of this planning. We are looking for your input as we continue developing restoration plans!

Please join us for a public input meeting at Heritage Hill State Historical Park on May 28, 2024. The meeting will be held at 6:00 PM at 2640 South Webster Avenue, Green Bay, WI 54301. We will be presenting the project background, scope, and a conceptual plan for the park which will help to facilitate discussion.

If you are unable to attend the meeting and are interested in connecting with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources regarding the proposed park improvements, please contact the Area of Concern Project Manager, Jessica Brandt at jessica.brandt@wisconsin.gov or 920-366-7275.
